Why is New York Abandoning the words Mother and Father?



After religion language does more to shape a culture than anything else. Which is why the Progressive Left—from the beginning—has sought to use words to promote its agenda. The corruption of language precedes the corruption of thought.

We all know the Left hates the traditional family. This goes back to Karl Marx and the Communist Manifesto. So one of their tactics for destroying the family is changing the words used to describe family. I laughed out loud when AOC refused to use the word “mother” and instead made reference to a “birthing person.” This was a capitulation to transgenderism.

The state of New York has just passed a law changing the word “Mother” to “gestating parent” and the word “father” to “non-gestating parent.” The idea is to capitulate to feminism and transgenderism by using so-called gender neutral language. Another example. The word father would also be replaced with “alleged parent.”

I don’t know about you but I think children need to be raised by fathers not alleged parents. This is just another example of what happens when the true God is denied and blasphemed and His truth replaced by the nonsense of our pagan elite. But rest assured, God will have the final word. What he calls something is what they are.
